In Czechia, explorers can revel in stunning landscapes, ancient woodlands, cultural landmarks, spiritual paths, and the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, the Sky Bridge. 

There are over 40,000 kilometers of well-marked hiking trails—one of the most extensive and meticulously marked networks worldwide—ensuring adventurers never lose their way. 

The Toulava region stands out as a premier European hiking destination and boasts the first Czech trail to earn Leading Quality Trails Best of Europe certification. This route showcases the picturesque Lužnice River valley, historic mills and ruins, along with the charming towns of Tábor and Bechyně. 

A scenic trek through the Jizera Mountain Beech Forest—a UNESCO-listed national nature reserve—highlights majestic rock formations in one of northwestern Jizera Mountains' most pristine areas. 

For extended hikes, consider traversing from westernmost to easternmost Czechia on the Czech Trail or embarking on the Ridge Route through Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The latter stretches over 100 km from the Ore Mountains' foothills to the Lusatian Mountains. 

The Sky Bridge near Dolní Morava spans 721 meters across a gorge at a height of 95 meters. It provides breathtaking vistas and was named one of Time magazine's best places in the world for 2022.

In Czechia, via ferratas are becoming a favorite pastime, with about 60 routes currently available and more being added every year. Highlighted routes include Pastýřská stěna in Děčín, boasting breathtaking views and 16 paths; Vodní brána near Semily, catering to both novices and seasoned climbers; Hluboká in South Bohemia with three difficulty levels and stunning vistas of the Vltava River; Bečov nad Teplou's bio-ferrata nestled within a botanical garden; Velká věž and Jezerní stěna by the Vír reservoir, perfect for less experienced adventurers; the demanding speleoferrata in the Moravian Karst; and Slánská hora near Slaný, offering 7 routes and 2 rope bridges to suit all abilities.

Cycling Czechia offers excellent routes for all levels, including long-distance, easy tourism, road racing, and family trips. It boasts a dense network of sign-posted routes, river routes, EuroVelo long-distance routes, and thematic paths, making it a welcoming destination for cyclists. 

Your clients can hire various types of bicycles, including electric bikes, from several bike hire services in Czechia. The ČD Bike Hire Service is available at selected railway stations nationwide.
 
The Elbe Route and cycle routes along the Ohře, Vltava, and Bečva Rivers are popular, offering views of Prague Castle, the Zoo, and the National Theatre. One route leads to a wine-making region.


Czechia offers 17 international long-distance cycle routes spanning over 90,000 km, including four EuroVelo routes (4, 7, 9, and 13). Noteworthy routes include EuroVelo 13 – the Iron Curtain Route, and EuroVelo 9 – the Amber Route in Moravia, historically significant for amber trade.

Notable green routes include Greenway Prague - Vienna and the Greenway Jizera cycle route through the Jizera Mountains, Jizera River, Krkonoše Mountains, Bohemian Paradise, and Elbe Region.

The Czech Tour Race, the biggest stage race in Czechia featuring top Czech and world riders, will be held from 25 to 28 July 2024. Additionally, the public can participate in L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France, starting in Prague with a challenging longest stage of nearly 131 km and over 1,900 meters of ascent, showcasing forests and river valleys.

Czechia also offers diverse mountain biking opportunities, including family-friendly trail parks with bike schools. Key sites include Singltrek pod Smrkem in the Jizera Mountains with over 70 km of trails, and various parks like Bikepark Kopřivná, Trail Park Klínovec, and others. Jáchymov in the Ore Mountains has 24 km of trails graded by difficulty, accessible via a cable car. Trutnov Trails features more than 40 km of varying difficulty trails in a scenic landscape. Trail Park Dolní Morava offers single trails, the Sky Walk, and additional activities like a bobsled track and rope park.
